W/ NIRMALA GANAPATHY
The event took place for 11 days, from 19th - 30th August’21, with 30+ participants hailing from all over the country. The Editorial Director, Prabhpreet Singh, took 3 sessions, which talked about the basics of article writing in 3 steps.
The participants were given various tasks throughout the weeks to challenge them and received personalised feedback for each of the submissions as well.
For the final session, we were joined by Nirmala Ganapathy, the Indian Bureau Chief of Strait Times, who was more than happy to share her experience as a renowned journalist, and answered questions presented by the mentees.
This was The Uncut Team’s first skill development workshop and was an absolutely success with positive feedback from all participants. The top 6 participants were given certificates of merit, top 4 got personalised LOAs and the top 3 got a chance to intern at our editorial department.
